Act of erasure/subtraction

In both of these works, the use of erasure enhances other parts of the picture.

In the work called Residente Pulido, with the absents of the front of the building, i.e. doors and windows, puts more attention on the building itself.

In Charles Cohen’s work, the white silhouette of the woman intensifies the mystery of the woman.
